How the index is calculated.

Each hardware index is the median of available provider observations, normalized to USD per GPU-hour. Whole-node prices are divided by GPU count. Provider-specific storage, taxes and network fees may differ.

The aggregate is the equal-weight median of hardware medians; it is composition-sensitive and not an investable asset. No historical changes are shown before observations exist. Capacity remains unknown unless a provider explicitly reports it.
